Title: The Mars Volta - Bedlam in Goliath
Post by: Soma on January 21, 2008, 02:57:37 PM
Only listened to a few songs, but so far it sounds pretty fast paced, without as much pointless noise as the last couple of albums.

They've lost their latin feel a bit with the new drummer, but he is the youngest person ever to be sponsored by zildjian (age 10) so obviously he's pretty freakin awesome... seen them play live with him last year and it was great.

So like get it and stuff and junk

Most likely will, even though I wasn't too impressed with Frances the Mute.  Did love their first album.  Cicatriz ESP is my favorite.

Colleague of mine went to their concert this Month.
Apparently it was very very good.
15. hours of playing, and then a 1.5 hour encore.  No breaks.

Even sex with your mother would get boring after that long FoiD.
