I think the graphics are just a bit too dated to get into this late in the game. Wish I had played it years ago :(

Try out F.E.A.R
it's getting old but it's still very very pretty, the story is wtfawesome and the game can scare the shit out of you unless you are carved out of stone or norwegian.

If you want an RPG, The Witcher all the day baby. Or just wait for Fallout 3

NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer, or the original campaign.  (Or, the two expansion campaigns for the original, both far more interesting than the first campaign, and the SoUT one was really good two player.)

Medieval 2: Total War

The Political MAchine 2008 is meant to be alright, if you like that kind of thing.

The two Penumbra games that are out, while FP aren't really shooters.

Company of Heroes and expansion - Alright story, some interesting missions, nice visuals.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R  - Not really helpful for you if you don't like FPSes.

Those games all suck and so do you, Nasojiti.

You're the downfall of the gaming industry.

Audiosurf.

OK, so it's not one of those "Big Fucking Storylines with Epic Battles"-games, but it's incredibly fucking fun. And that's all that counts, right?

NWN2 is a good bet.  So is Mass Effect, if you aren't totally adverse to shooters (not that ME is a shooter, but you'd probably think so at first sight).  Lost Odyssey is an extremely good JRPG, but not sure what your tolerance is for that.  If you're willing to suffer through some older graphics, Knights of the Old Republic and KOTORII were also both terrific.

I loved the Longest Journey!  Just played it the other month and absolutely adored it.  Bad recommendation as far as graphics go though; that game looks worse than a SNES release.

I think I might have liked Dreamfall except that it controlled like absolute ass.  Even moving around was a pain in that game.  And why was April all emo all the sudden?  I eventually got stuck on some puzzle where I had to listen to musical notes and gave up.  *hates that kind of puzzle*

Medieval 2: Total War was like the greatest game since Rome: Total War.

Sins of a Solar Empire should work for you based on some of the games you seem to like.

I don't do game recommendations to graphics snobs, but if you insist...

Try some underground games, like Oasis or something.

I still play StarCraft with friends. And I liked Oblivion. NWN2 is ok, but the expansion has been boring so far.
How about you teach your kids to play some board games you like? Or maybe the cats.

And all I can think of is Mortal Kitty Combat. My brain must be broken again.

It's one of the last truly brilliant games.

Isn't that a LARP or something (goggled it)

LARP's are retarded (but not half as retarded as your hat! :D ) I kid I kid!

no, it's not a LARP.

It's a kind of MMORPG.
100% grind free!

I played it once and didn't get it. Apparently they are making a sequel now.

Otherwise, try Crazy Machines II, i love this kind of games back from the time it was called Incredible Machines.

playing World in Conflict a lot these days.
It's pretty brilliant, especially because it's finally a game that does a few new things to the genre.
Including brilliant multiplayer.

I'm loving it so far, the teams are usually okay, though sometimes you do end up in noob teams and get owned, but that's standard fare for this kind of game.

balancing is pretty awesome too.

Playing WoW I guess, just PvP for the most part... for hobbies I am painting the house and doing home improvement stuff. Nothing out there is appealing to me right now, at least not until Spore.
