I wouldn't hold my breath that anything will actually come of this. Let alone anything watchable...

I just shudder to think what ONE movie will be able to do with the eye of the world. I mean, lotr as a book isnt that much bigger, and that was turned into 12 hours total if you went with extended. . . and they still lacked half the plot :P

i now realise he's already dead... so just burning his books would be enough.

i read through to somewhere in book 3 or 4.. can't even remember now. by that point my brain was numb and i couldn't think why i was wasting my time anymore. WoT is just not my thing. i can enjoy tolkien and lewis and some others but need to see something different when i read. this is where i detoured to pratchett. while i enjoy fantasy when done right, it's not my preferred genre at all and i take it with a grain of salt.

I even read more books by that other guy who finished the series later on. Wasn't too bad, but didn't get me hooked for the sequel.
