Lemme see... so far a snigger has been achieved by introduction of Albert.
And some more were received over these things:

-Death looks for teh funny.
-Albert goes back.
-Every time Mort botches his job.

's a good book, not just very hard on teh funny department. :P

Currently readin' Thief of Time. Maybe read the Truth afterwards. :lurk:

thief of time was pretty good, love.. uh.. I forget his name, the sweeper

he's fucking class :)
always remember rule number one

reading the first and last freedom - krishnamurti ... it's... interesting, page by page I'm not sure what I think about what he's saying.. some of it seems incredibly obvious and not worth writing about, some of it seems like absolute bollocks and some of it seems pretty insigthful... only 80 or so pages in so hopefully he ties it all together at some stage later on.

wilmot robertson - the dispossessed majority

around 80 pages in so far and... wow... i honestly can't believe someone wrote this book

I tried to get some kind of idea of what it was about from reading the blurbs on the back cover.. and it's only now that I've actually read a bit that I realise why most of the people who commented on the book refused to let their names be shown

well, I guess no one's been reading this month

started reading from dawn to decadence - by jacques... something a while ago but it's not really gripping me, so I'm starting  'shamrock and the sword' by robert ryal miller .. it's about the st patricks battalion (irish american soldiers) in the us-mexican war who (i think) defected to the side of the mexicans because.. well.. it was the right thing to do! :)

Finished "The Game", by Neil Strauss, one of the most accomplished pickup-artists in the world. It was a very fun--and surprisingly involving--read! Warmly recommended to men and women alike, esp. Rick.

Just finished Ink by Hal Duncan this morning (jetlag is grand) and I'm not sure what I think except that I have just finished something special. I was reading (and still am) reading Mason and Dixon by Thomas Pynchon on my vacation. It's a nice read but as far as historical fiction goes Neal Stephenson's The Baroque Cycle beats this hands down.
