So, I bought this yesterday morning.

I must say, I am impressed.  I liked With Teeth, but it was pretty far down the list of NIN albums.  This is far, far better, I think.

Yeah, much, much better. To be honest I wasn't too impressed with With Teeth.  Maybe I was just angst-free when I listened to it....

Its really grown on me...the new sound direction took a bit of getting used to (I've heard of it as NIN lite as its pretty stripped back) but as a concept album it works amazingly well. Musically I don't think that its quite up to the standards of The Fragile but I'd probably put it slightly ahead of The Downward Spiral (Hurt excluded). I am really keen to see where Trent takes the second half of this project.
