Oh, I am not saying that it ain't a good game Hunchie. It is a very good game... but ultimately, it just wasn't my bag of tea. I didn't like the atmosphere from jump. It evoked all the right feelings (I oohed, aahed, jumped a few times) but once I got past that, it turned into another FPS and one that I wasn't particularly having fun playing. I suppose it is an indictment of how good a game it is that I chose not to play it not because it sucked, but because the atmosphere didn't suit me.
There's a lot to be said for wilful ignorance.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

OMG i beat the game o.O

damn! Crazy shit.
Wonder what the ending is if you go "evil"... but can't be arsed to go all over it again just to see the other ending. Even though it shouldn't be just the final movie, i believe a lot of things will change in the game. Hmm

Bioshock is a great game that does everything right for a little while, but when you finish it you realize it was pretty flawed after all.

Clearly you haven't played Halo 2.

Bioshock was an awesome game, but it had more to do with the story and the tongue in cheek "twist" than the actual gameplay.

In the end it was basically System Shock 3: Atlantis.

And why is that a bad thing?

Seriously, i don't get people bitching about games beeing similar. For me, if you give me for example Diablo 2 with modern engine and a little bit of changes i'd be damn happy to play it. (Titan Quest almost has it, i've spent a while playing with a friend on LAN)... Same goes for almost all old and awesome games that i no-longer play because they are simply TOO ugly to look at... System Shock, Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, Fallout, Starcraft... Atleast for SC i hope they don't ADD a load of shit and just give us same old + graphics + small corrections. So far i am pleased with what they are showing.

Anyway... whatever

it's like reading a new david eddings trilogy, only to be dismayed that he followed the exact same plot lines for the one you read before and the one you read now.

it's not too much to ask for a bit of inventiveness.

is that a word?

ingenuity?

You'll be pleased to hear about Hellgate: London then.  It's Diablo in the future with guns.

Too bad the videos and story in Hellgate: London seems a bit cooler than the actual game.
oh well... he that still lives may see the end. ;)

My computer is too old to run these new games. :(

if you play the game and harvest the little sisters... do you get the same amount of adam as if you'd rescued them?

does it make any difference at all except the end game vid scene?

Yeah, you get more adam in the long run if you harvest instead of rescuing.  Not that you'll ever really be adam-poor, so the difference is mostly in preference.

Well actually i had all the upgrades i ever needed and i at the end i had a LOAD of adam left, and i went the "good" way.
So i guess it's equal. Also, when you are good you get free tonics and shit.
