« on: October 07, 2007, 02:55:16 pm »
First Lineup Announcement:

    * Rage Against the Machine
    * Björk
    * Grinspoon
    * Arcade Fire
    * Hilltop Hoods
    * Billy Bragg
    * Paul Kelly
    * LCD Soundsystem
    * Sarah Blasko
    * Faker
    * Midnight Juggernauts
    * Dizzee Rascal
    * Something with Numbers
    * Battles
    * Cut Off Your Hands

Looks interesting so far... I have never really listened to much bjork, but i recently got the song "play dead" and it fucking kicks ass!! There's a lot of aussie bands  in there so hopefully the next announcement brings some big international acts

Watch Bjork if you have a chance. We saw her (again) at Rock Werchter this year, she gave a great show.
And while you're at it, check out "All is full of love" and "Hyperballad". Those are her most beautiful songs I think :)

Agree with seeing her and that those are some of her best songs. I also like Bachelorette and Sun in My Mouth.

Don't tickets go on sale in a couple of days? I'd want to see more of the line-up before shelling out $130...

Meh, I'll go no matter what... Rage will be awesome, and I'm pretty sold on Bjork now too, but I doubt Adelaide will sell out too quickly, so you'll probably have the chance to wait a bit anyway.

Line up looks amazing Rage, and Arcade fire alone are worth the ticket price. Two of the best live band I've ever seen. Add Bjork and Battles well great line ups dont get better.

Bjork's vespertine album is amazing.... everything on it is stunning.

and Battles are the best thing touring right now... I'm of to see them this wednesday.

Try to catch Enter Shikari if you can peeps. It might not be your style, and they might not be the best technical players in the world, but they sure know how to build a party. And it's extremely catchy stuff they produce :D
