Didn't NBC already aquire some sort of miniseries rights almost a decade ago?  Or some studio like that.

I wouldn't hold my breath that anything will actually come of this.  Let alone anything watchable...

I didn't know of that?

I know theyre making sword of truth into a tv-series though o_O

I just shudder to think what ONE movie will be able to do with the eye of the world. I mean, lotr as a book isnt that much bigger, and that was turned into 12 hours total if you went with extended. . . and they still lacked half the plot :P

Death in a fire!

Bringing this subject up again has made me feel even more contempt than usual for movies. Keep up the good work!

I hope amazon does a good job with the series.   At least it appears there will be a decent budget.

With a bit luck it might get the forum going for another 10 years.

Does anyone else love that this thread started almost exactly 10 years ago? Awesome.
It'd be really funny if we went to Erins wedding.
Drank all the alcohol.
Insulted flunji's "New Zealand" family
And then sailed off into the sunset.
Probably to ingapore, whoich isn;t really the sunset
oh.
Hello flunji!
