Not REALLY interested, you mean.
If there is a thread, I'll post in it. If I post in it, it will die. That is the cycle of the Walrus.

When people see me lurkin', they go pomgwtfnoesbbq and guestify. Are you a pretty little guest now too?

Quake what?
It is believed Stalin is directly responsible for personally shooting, cooking and consuming as many as 230 million Soviet people.

Looks like its a lot of flash on that site.
Is the game itself in flash as well or is it another plug-in story?

No, it's some sort of a plug-in. It's amazing, you download a 8mb file and install it, then you have the full quake with everything in it and it never loads, downloads or anything. Can be played in windowed or fullscreen mode, has console and everything...   Honestly i am amazed at what they've done.

It also has friends system with integrated IM sorta thingy, full online stats tracking, server browser, etc. For the moment there are UK and NL servers only but later on there should be servers everywhere.

Probably streaming all content when loading levels.
Character data doesn't require that much nowadays when you can have an initial set and then just add bones to it.
You then just apply rotation and moment to each joint per animation and interpolate. :D

Looked a bit more blunt than Q3.
Q3 levels are kinda small compared to nowadays.
Never noticed that UT3 streams textures on distance? you can usually see the pop-ins ;)
