Hey Thin
« on: September 01, 2008, 08:57:38 pm »
Bob Day is running in the Mayo by-election...  but after missing out on pre-selection (by rorting and fixing, according to Day), for the FAMILY FIRST?!

Comment, plzkthx. :)

God I hate that cunt.

Glad I've seen the last of his conservative arse in Makin at least.  Shows his true colours by joining Fundamentalists First.

He has the money and its a safe conservative seat.
*shrugs* I dont blame him.

The Libs have put forward a pretty good candidate. I've forgotten his name though (he's that good)

More like a safe Liberal seat with lots of conservative voters . I hear Day's been splashing around that cash a fair bit...

Jamie Briggs. I'm reading a few not-so-good things on the blogs - failed uni student (but there's a few of them in parliament), ex-Pyne staffer with accusations of branch stacking hanging around him. Apparently he was "arrogant, rude and a little bit scary" in the candidates debate.

Mind you, I know it's a no contest. The only question will be how big a vote the Greens get from Labor withdrawing, and how much FF take off the Liberals. Apparently the Democrats' candidate is pretty impressive, but no-one even thinks of them any more...

Better than Bob Day, a local philanthropist? Whom you supported at the last federal election? And Iain Evans (well, maybe not Evans)?

I know I did. I would've thought the key would be to not be like that in public...

Help me,  Thin. HELP. My new housemate is "involved with" Fundies First.

By that, I guess she means in between the times she's smoking, drinking, and picking up.

Oh, and:

Tell me where politics isn't petty, then.

And as if it's not entertaining. Tittie-fucking an MP's mum at a party drinking session and all!
