On the plus side, my 3 year old loves this game.

That sounds just horrible. O_o

Edit: The install that is, not the three year old loving it. /Edit.

If there is a thread, I'll post in it. If I post in it, it will die. That is the cycle of the Walrus.

When people see me lurkin', they go pomgwtfnoesbbq and guestify. Are you a pretty little guest now too?

Was that in reply to me?

Of course it installs fine, on Windows and Mac OS.  Just don't try to do it more than three times or you'll be calling up EA to beg.

Anyway, bring on Fallout 3 I say.

I believe it will suck major balls :(
They have been hyping the crowds for ages now, and frankly i find the FPS thing quite a bad idea.

I hope at least they will manage to keep the spirit of the game.

I got an extra mem pack for my ds so I got 16Mb extra to play with. Mostly means that I canuse Opera, Linux and Quake2 on my ds. The later actually runs pretty decent so a lot of ds games that comes out are either 1. programmed by grunts. 2. just made to sell. ;)
I have no doubt they could do a decent quake clone if the built it from scratch and limited the art to the ds needs. Though will certainly need extra memory or/and the possibility to write to the card. Mostly the slow bus in between is the limiting factor now :/

Also got rumble for free... not that I know anything that uses that...

There's a lot of fuss over the DRM on this game. Anyone got any opinions? IS three installs enough? Does the security make the game clunky?

Yes, it;s clunky.

It's a simple kids game with a fantastic character creation tool. It's like he has this amazing character creation tool then built a game around it, 5 mini games, all pretty middle of the road with a very unfinished feel. Read my review. I was harsh, but honest. Trust me, save your $50 bucks.

I like the game. I agree with Kat though that the substages could use a little more depth. Perhaps they'll take care of that in Spore 2?
