Battlestar Galactica, 12 Skinjobs, and Astrology
« on: October 08, 2008, 01:21:14 pm »
I know quite a bit about astrology, used to do charts back in the day, so wanted to address the cylons, figure out who was what sign, and that would help lead to the final cylon. After thought and putting who goes with that, my educated guess is the final cylon would be a Leo. Of course, astrology real or fake in real life, plays a major role in the TV series, so here goes for birthday stereotypes...

I noted if a sign was fixed or changeable. Only 4 are Fixed making them extra strong and stubborn and the rest are changeable (Cardinal or Muted)

Aries - Fire, First, energetic, hot temper, head strong, self-assured, competitive, fiery temper, stubborn, changeable
Taurus - Earth, money, loyal and reliable, strong, slow going, enduring, secure, romantic, soft, fixed
Gemini - Air, twins, talks a lot, flighty, male and female aspects, prone to lies and double talk, devious, witty and clever, changeable
Cancer - Water, mother, moon, moody, love, changeable
Leo - Fire, leader, grand, dramatic, pride, center of attention, ego, dominating, flamboyant, beautiful, strength, warmth, ambitious, generous, fixed
Virgo - Earth, health, medical, virgin, work horse, analytical, highly discriminating, clean freak, changeable
Libra - Air, balance, justice, finding both sides, kind, peacemaker, changeable
Scorpio - Water, death, secrets, power, sex, uncovering lies, fixed
Sagittarius - Fire, freedom-loving, education, bachelor, seeker of truth, honest to a fault, travel, philosophy, outspoken, liberal, changeable
Capricorn - Earth, politics, money, gets better with age, business, steady as she goes, very stubborn, goat like, positions of power, changeable
Aquarius - Air, intelligent, rebel, individual, non-conformist, logical, emotionally detached, loves technology, unusual, quirky, humanitarian, fixed
Pisces - Water, super sensitive, emotional, two fishes swimming with and against the current, psychic, prone to heart break, sacrifice, artistic, martyr, prone to abuse drugs and alcohol, empathy, self-pitying, needs solitude, chameleon, changeable

With that said... here are possibilities based on personalities

Aries - Aaron Doral (Five) (hot temper, first cylon)
Taurus - Chief (steady as she goes, reliable, down to earth)
Gemini - Leoben (weaves lies with truth, talks a lot, split personality)
Cancer - Sharon (mother, moody)
Leo - The last Cylon? (Center of attention, limelight, will be lots of drama here)
Virgo - Simon (doctor) (health and medicine, in the background)
Libra - Anders (honest, tries his best to do what is right, kind)
Scorpio - Six (Very sexual, very powerful, caused the death of the entire human race)
Sagittarius - D'Anna (seeker of truth, spiritual, traveled to see the final 5)
Capricorn - Tory (politics, power, stubborn)
Aquarius - Cavil (emotionally detached, logical, intelligent)
Pisces - Tigh (emotional basket case, heavy drinker which is a very Pisces trait, heart broken, sacrifice, and two "fish" or two emotional pulls going in opposite direction)

If the final cylon is a Leo, then... it can help narrow down the answer. Baltar sure seems like a Leo, or Adama, or Roslin... hmmm or Starbuck.

Helo is the final cylon.

Starbuck is not.  Starbuck is half-divine.  Her father was one of the Lords of Kobol.

I have no real reason to suspect him; just a feeling.  He's been involved in pretty much every major decision, even if only peripherally.  He is not an obvious choice like Roslin or Adama.  And he's likable.  Everybody likes Helo.

Plus, it would make Nicky the only hybrid.  And Helo's kid the only full Cylon born of two cylons.

I thought Roslin was temporarily cured from cancer because Hera's hybrid blood had qualities that no Cylon or human had.

Besides, isn't Caprica-Six and Tigh having a kid?

It is believed that's what 'cured' Roslin.  Nobody knows for sure.  Perhaps cylon kids (from one normal cylon, one Final Five cylon.... even just blood from one of the Final Five - Helo) are all that are needed.

And yes, they are.  Or it's implied that they are (nothing concrete yet).  But unless the fleet develops time travel, it won't be the first hybrid.

My money's on Helo.

ya, makes a lot of sense.

As far as Six, we dunno if it's Tigh's baby or not.
