My failed cooking channel
« on: December 13, 2018, 08:17:42 AM »
Hey youse, i don't remember if ya'll are in the loop but some years ago i spent ~2 years unemployed.
So while having not much to do, i decided to start a jewtube channel for cooking. It's featured extreme production value, editing techniques and top level sound, but sadly once i found a job i couldn't keep it alive anymore so jewtube de-monetized it.

Anyways, in case you want to mock me or maybe learn some simple but excellent Bulgarian (mostly) cuisine, it's this way -> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSOTCfXUYgZnb4Xjzq17jfw

I think I have speent a year watching: Hells Kitchen, Master chef US, Australia, Sw... ... ...and the list of shows goes on. ;-)

What software did you use for editing?

I'd like to say "none", but it's not entirely true - we used a little bit of Sony Vegas Pro. No one here's a pro at video editing, sooo :P

I am semi-ok with photos tho, much in the steps of Rick only i manage to get a decent shot every once in a few years ;)

When I do care enough to take pictures, they turn out well, these days.
But I just stopped caring.

Got another Leica (Rangefinder) as a heirloom, but it's more of a collectible thana camera, so I probably won't be loading any rolls into that.
Looking to get a new camera, that combines large sensor and excellent fixed focal length lens with light weight and decent ergonomics.
Sigmas and Fujis are looking good.
I still don't care enough about anything to actually spend money on yet another paperweight though.

Well, ideally something like 18-35 or 17-50, the widest aperture possible...
