So.. what's new jerks?
« on: April 03, 2019, 05:03:00 pm »
What's new with me you say? Glad you asked.

1) My kids are now 21 and 13. WTF right?

2) Amanda and I are no longer together. This one was about 15 years late.

3) I have recently started Brazilian Jiujitsu. I am being beaten up daily by kids that don't seem to get tired or feel pain.

4) I still work as a managery type slacker in the corporate world.

So, what's new jerks?

1) I got kids! Well... 8 and 6 (soon 7) now! :o

2) This year will be our 10 year anniversary, I'm thinking about buying a nicer ring and probably a trip to celebrate this.

3) It looks like I survived cancer x 2 :D had my port-a-cath removed yesterday. Today it hurt a bit but my pain threshold is low according to the wife. ;)

4) I mostly designing hi-tech toys and put Linux in them, but I prefer/recommend working with simpler, bare metal, OSs if you can afford it.

I
1) finished a worthless PhD in France,
2) got a sports car half my age,
3) an Hungarian girlfriend and
4) am now working in IT in the automotive sector in Stuttgart, doing random stuff every day.

No kids though.

Hmm.

1. Married (coming up on our sixth wedding anniversary).

2. Baby hopefully on the way after three kinda rough experiences with miscarriages (wk 20 ultrasound next week).

3. About to have a house built for my mum, a moderately terrifying endeavour but it's been a lifelong dream.

4. Around halfway through my neurology residency, and currently on an extremely relaxing 3 month external rotation at an overstaffed ward. Put research on hold to spend more time with family, but have realized I have much more time than I thought I did and was probably just being lazy.

Sorry to hear the last, happened here too.
I'm very happy to have A around now, my youngest.

She is more like me than the rest.
A dreamer, artist and learn by doing with a great appetite... :) Though usually misinterpreted. :P
(I hope she never gets frustrated like me, I'll make my best to prevent that, unlike me she is fearless)
