Haven't watched any movies since I broke up with my boyfriend, who was a total movie freak ;-) But I'm going to the cinema twice in a few weeks... any recommendations?

Finding Neverland, with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet, another match made in heaven

Alexander, which probably isn't nearly as bad as American film critics would have you believe

Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events, which, despite the fact that it looks like a children's film, seems to be interesting nonetheless

Ocean's Twelve, word is it's not as good as its predecessor, but that doesn't say a lot

That enough for ya? :)

Now watching: Heerenveen - Beveren

Yes, they are!  I need to buy "Eternal Sunshine", as it's by the same company (focus features)...and when I was watching some movie the other night (don't ask me which one) there was a preview for -another- Focus film.....need to find it, or find their website...see what all cool stuff they've done.

According to the tickets tumps I have in my wallet I go to the cinema at least twice a month. With a student discount they are actually affordable during weekdays...
Anyway, the Incredibles was pretty good too, so that's one worth watching.

Last thing I watched was Enemy of the State with Will Smith. Definitely one of his better movies...

The Wedding Singer. You know, there's nothing like seeing a movie again after so many years. It's the bomb-diggidy... so to speak.

Romancing the Stone :)

Damn what a movie. Michael Douglas's best, perhaps? It's short, but packed with adventure--and humour!

And with that in mind I sat down to watch Never Been Kissed last night. It was worse than I remembered it from my first viewing in a sneak preview years ago, though.

I'm downing and watching all outer limits episodes and while some of them are very bad a lot of them are pretty cool...

Just finished the third season of the West Wing, moved on to Lost.  I also saw The Life Aquatic (With Steve Zissou) and Sideways in the theatres lately.

I'm busy with the second season of West Wing (for the second time) and it is still quite enjoyable...

Is Lost any good???

Yeah, the West Wing is just badass.  Fucking awesome writing.  Can't wait till I get my hands on season 4, as I hear it's the last one that's really any good.

When I first heard about Lost, I thought it would be shit.  Just didn't sound like it was going to work out...but the other night, I was downstairs for some reason and watched an episode on accident.  It was pretty cool, so I watched the first three last night.  And actually, it's really badass.  I love stuff where ordinary people are thrown into truly extraordinary situations - like in Lost, where the island they crash on seems to be inhabited by some huge creatures (or something, no one knows) that kill and chase them.  You never see them, and you don't know what they are.  A lot of weird shit seems to happen, and unexplained cool things are always a plus in any fantasy drama.  The characters are really interesting as well.  They reveal a lot of development through constant backstory interspersed with activity on the island.  Very cool.  So I'd recommend it, I enjoy it quite a bit.

Yeah, Lost looks interesting...I'll probably try and see the first episode assuming it fits in with my work schedule etc.

Other than that, still churning through Buffy...onto Season 3 now!
