The camera itself is actually a beaut, it's just that Rick's one of those suckahs who thinks bigger and rawer is always better
Canon cameras seem to often do a lot of automatic polishing to make the pics better, kinda like HPs 
The photos are still dull and lacking colour... and I can see pixels.
Well, it was pretty overcast, as you can see, so I often had some pretty nasty light situations, in some cases I tried higher ISO settings, which result in a tiny bit of noise, and always a lack of colour. Everything is grey, if the light is grey.
Also, those are scaled down images, the scaling algorithm isn't exactly the best, click twice on the images to get to the original 2000*3000 photos.
You don't see pixels on 10*13 prints.
